It's a warm gesture from many gamers who likely never met Codex but wanted to show solidarity with him. The pictures of them all sitting are like real vigils and very moving and I hope it gave him and his family strength.
This article reveals the deep and profound bias of Digital Foundry. The division was set up to reveal the technical differences between 360 and PS3 games that were sometimes imperfect ports. Now that many of the PS4 games have superior resolution it try's to downplay that by referring to it as merely a 'metric' and claiming that the playability is the same!
No one is saying the playability of the lower res games is worse, however for a website that looks at techn...
* Nintendo games that will work on a handheld version and home version of the console.
* The Nintendo equivalent of trophies - lets call them Nintendo Stars.
* A robust online network where adults can talk to others in-game.
* It doesn't have to be the most powerful on the market- but powerful enough to run third-party games.
* No gimmicks.
It could be many things but I don't like articles being negative about games before they are released.
Using the threat of terrorism to make this a fanboy attack on Sony for destroying freedom?!!! Try again mate.
With all the press it would make sense to release the movie digitally - it would also be a good experiment to see how releasing a big budget movie this way would perform. However a Sony Pictures insider told the Daily Mail that the studio 'has no further release plans for the film'

The app is only available on Windows mobile?!
What ridiculous moneyhat deal is that? EA ignoring iOS and Android. Yes it will probably come to them eventually but it just goes to show that EA, like they did with Titanate make availability choices that weaken the reach of their own brands. Utterly stupid.
No wonder XBO has had great Black Friday sales in the UK, those games new are almost the value of the console!
Microsoft paid for the timed Tomb Raider exclusive, Phil Spencer said he bought it to compete with Uncharted. His statement was intended to deliberately pit them against each other so XBO owners don't feel they are missing out on a great game.
However some fools have taken this as licence to unfairly criticise the quality of an unreleased game, just so they can further their fanboy war.
Pachter saying that the PlayStation 4 is 'peaking' next year is actually making a sly backhanded insult!
This is because his comment means that the PS4 hits its peak in 2015 and after it's downhill and the Xbox One will overtake it.
You said it. These journos come in from a non-gamer background and they attack the freedom and individuality of this great hobby.
It's time to ban Polygon for being anti-gamer.
Blame the SJWs.
Just a couple of days ago CD Projekt were criticised for downgrading the graphics of the game which they denied - they blamed the trailer upload format.
In light of this and the backlash against Ubishid for their buggy Assassin's Creed 900p Parity, they probably realised they have to make sure the game is finished and that a post-release mega-patch is not acceptable anymore.
I don't mind a wait as long as it means the developers can make sure The Wi...
Let me give you the abbreviated version of the article:
Eurogamer/Digital Foundry "Is Uncharted 4 the generational leap we were hoping for?" "Is this game coming out on our favourite console the Xbox One? No. Well then this looks quite nice but not a game-changer so ultimately we think the graphics of Uncharted 4 are disappointing.
I sincerely hope PS4 owners complain about the 900p graphics. I've heard the excuses but I don't believe them. Why should a game have a lower res than the year before? Of course Ubisoft are a business who must generate profits but they shouldn't neglect the artistry and pride that comes from making every version the best they can.
Rumour has it that the story that this would be 720p on XBO and 900p on PS4 was a deliberate fake plant by CD Projekt because of a 'partnership deal' The game will actually be 900p on both platforms and they claim will be that the XBO version was upgraded to match PS4, and deny that PS4 was downgraded to match XBO.
I don't know much about hacking, but I would think that Microsoft have one of the most secure networks in the world next to Google and Amazon. So whilst I can easily believe Lizard Squad can take down the less secure PSN, Microsoft are one of the oldest, richest and most experienced software companies so I don't think a little hacker group could take them down.
"I didn't see ship dates on everything in PSX" That's actually being negative about the competition. Keep it classy Phil.
There is nothing wrong with sharing a personal opinion about the monthly offerings of the two online services once all the facts are available. However the article is inherently bias in favour of Microsoft because Sony have yet to share their full list.
There's being over eager, but this is just corruption.
